Interpreting for EIS

Are you interested in working with EIS?  We have interpreting opportunities in and around Sacramento, as well as Yuba City, Woodland, Placerville, Stockton and outlying areas.

If you are interested in applying to work as an independent contractor, please fill out our on-line questionnaire.

Upon completion of the questionnaire, we will send you the necessary paper work to complete so you can begin working with us.  The completion of your paperwork must include verification of your certification (NIC, RID or NAD), or EIPA/ESSE score.   If you are not yet certified or do not have an EIPA / ESSE score of 3.0 or above, you will need to provide a portfolio of your work, which includes a resume, references, certificate of completion from an Interpreter Training Program (or verification that you are enrolled), and a sample videotape of your work.

Interpreters already working for EIS can log in to our data base by clicking on the "Log In" button on the left side of the web page.  You will need a user name and password to log in.

When you go to the Log In page, if the EIS Assignments link does not show up, our system may be down temporarily. Check back later, or send us an e mail with the dates and times you are available for work.
